STATEMENT OF FAITH

THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired and infallible,
authoritative Word of God. We believe that the King James
Bible has been preserved for the English-speaking people and,
therefore, is the only Bible we use.


GOD
We believe that there is but one living and true God, an infinite,
all-knowing Spirit, perfect in His attributes, One in essence,
eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We further believe that each member of the holy Trinity is equally
deserving of worship and obedience.


JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His deity, sinless life,
vicarious death, along with His bodily resurrection and
ascension. We further believe in Christ’s personal, imminent, and
pre-millennial return.


HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the
Father and God the Son and of the same nature. We recognize
His divine activity in creation, incarnation, written revelation, and
the work of salvation.


SIN
We believe that man was created in innocence under the law of
his Maker but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless
state; consequently, all mankind are sinners, not by constraint
but by choice. Therefore, mankind is under just condemnation
without defense or excuse.


SATAN
We believe that Satan is a fallen angel, the arch enemy of God
and man, the unholy god of this world, for whom the place of
eternal punishment (hell) was prepared.


SALVATION
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died as a
substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. He
arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is
seated at the right hand of God. Man is lost and must be born
again, through repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ.


SECURITY
We believe that all the redeemed are kept by God’s power and
are thus secure in Christ forever. We further believe that God’s
Word clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion
for sinful living and carnality.


CHURCH
We believe that Jesus Christ founded the visible local church
which consists of a group of believers baptized by immersion
who have assembled together for the purpose of fulfilling the
Great Commission. We believe the local church to be
completely autonomous and self-governing. We further believe
that there are two ordinances: baptism by immersion and the
Lord’s Supper.


HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost: those
that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life in heaven and
those that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation in a
literal lake of fire.


LAST THINGS
We believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church saints,
followed by the seven-year tribulation. We further believe in the
pre-millennial return of Christ to the earth and His literal rule of
one thousand years. After this, unbelievers of all ages will stand
at the Great White Throne and be judged and cast into a lake of
fire, while the believers will have their works judged at the
judgment Seat of Christ.
