Gran's Banana Pudding

I love banana pudding. I don 't love all banana pudding. They are not all created equal and there are three basic types. 1) Banana flavored instant pudding, vanilla wafer cookies, banana slices. 2) Generic, all purpose, cooked pudding mixture, vanilla wafers, banana slices.
Then we have #3: Gran's banana pudding, which happens to be the best recipe ever. Don't believe me? Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Banana Pudding

2/3 cup sugar

2 tbsp flour

2 cups milk

2 eggs

1 heaping tbsp oleo

1 tsp vanilla

Nilla wafers

4 or 5 bananas

Mix sugar and flour thoroughly in a sauce pan.

Add milk and stir well.

Mix in beaten eggs.

Add butter and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to blend all ingredients and prevent sticking.

Remove from heat immediately after boiling point is reached and add vanilla.

Cool.

Layer vanilla wafers, bananas and filling until all filling is used up.

You won't be disappointed!
